Well then. You buncha jive turkeys don't want to take advantage, then you'll get nothing and like it! |
Saber6 | 17 Apr 2009 11:57 a.m. PST |
Hmm the 10,000 1:87 bystanders sounds like the place to start for Zombie games

I for one appreciate the link. I've been looking for 1/300 autos for modern and Kaiju gaming. Thanks Smokey |

Your welcome! THAT's the kind of reply I want to see when I hook y'all up with a slice of fried gold! :) |
PygmaelionAgain | 17 Apr 2009 12:24 p.m. PST |
It takes me weeks to buy a car
much less 1000 of them at a time ;) |
Smokey Roan | 17 Apr 2009 12:26 p.m. PST |
The Chinese are taking over the US Auto industry! (in 6mm) :) |
Lerchey | 17 Apr 2009 1:56 p.m. PST |
Ok, I really don't need 100 model cars in 1/300, but would like maybe 20-30. If I buy one, anyone want like half of 'em if I promise not to make a profit on 'em? :) |
Smokey Roan | 17 Apr 2009 2:04 p.m. PST |
LOL Lerchy! That's the deal I mde with a TMPer here. We are spliiting the cost and cars. Theises, had he checked his PM box, would have got 50 cars for free, just because he is a great guy. (he didn't, so he missed out) :) I'll go halvsies with anyone who wants to do the jumbo lot of 6mm trees though.
|
Darby E | 17 Apr 2009 2:15 p.m. PST |
Oooh, which lot of trees is that? I see tons
|
Smokey Roan | 17 Apr 2009 2:15 p.m. PST |
Any lot that will work for 6mm. You in? :) And, BTW, is "1/220" scale? Is that "Z" scale? And why Arab civilians?
If you can afford a Z scale train set, you can afford to not have open desert as terrain. :) |
Darby E | 17 Apr 2009 2:39 p.m. PST |
Good lord, that's a lot of peoples! I didn't even see them at first. Looks like I'll be able to get my 1/600 scale stuff going for much cheaper than I had been, not to mention zombies
|
VonTed | 17 Apr 2009 4:08 p.m. PST |
These are for architectural models
. arab civilians are the ones buying the big projects. Makes sense :) |
Covert Walrus | 17 Apr 2009 4:24 p.m. PST |
I like the link – Just don't like paying NZ$80 for them. |
Smokey Roan | 17 Apr 2009 4:58 p.m. PST |
NZ$80? Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis? |
Smokey Roan | 17 Apr 2009 5:16 p.m. PST |
Oh, and VonTed, you certainly wore your thinking cap today! :)
Great post!

miniMo | 17 Apr 2009 6:47 p.m. PST |
Ooh. I just got a 100 of the 1/300 cars for kaiju squishings. Would have gone for a 200 batch if they had more than 2 styles. |

Speaking from experience, this particular vendor is an absolute dream to buy from. I've bought trees, Palm trees, people and cars in both 6mm and 10mm scales. I've always had great shipping service from him, ususally within 5-6 days. I have dealt with him now on six separate occaisions and will no doubt continue to do so in the future. Ray |

Yeah
I've done biz with him too. The N scale cars are great! |
Saber6 | 17 Apr 2009 8:47 p.m. PST |
Smokey, yo are EVIL. I now have 1,000 civilians on the way

Smokey, I was looking at the 500 car set @ $35.90 USD a pop – That's about seventy kiwis. Now I look again, there are some cheaper sets, but still US$17.00 without postage costs ( likely to double that is not exactly a cheap deal at present for me. |
Cry Havoc | 18 Apr 2009 2:35 a.m. PST |
Are you sure you have to add postage? Most sets seemed to include free shipping to the US and Europe. Otherwise very nice economy of scale here. Now they just have to enter the wargame mini market :-) |
The Lost Soul | 18 Apr 2009 5:16 a.m. PST |
If anybody wants to get just a few to see what they are like in the flesh (or even plastic) I've got an ebay auction for 10 ending tomorrow (auction number 270372000215). Let me know you're from TMP and I'll send it out post free to the UK or as cheap as I can elsewhere. Saying that, I've bought from this seller before and I think you'll be happy with what you get for the price you pay. |
