I scratchbuilt this heinkel 113 out of basswood in 1/72nd scale. I made it compatable with Mustangs and Messerschmitts even though I dodn't know anybody here in Portland, OR that still plays it. Hello? Since it never actually entered Luftwaffe service I didn't bother with a historically accurate paint job. link

Holy Luftwaffe! The detail on that thing is incredible! Are the panel lines painted or engraved?

Thanks, the panel lines are scribed with an awl after the wood is primed. After painting I accent the lines with a very fine tip marker.
