Does anyone know of any sources for the uniforms worn by both sides in this short war. Thanks

They're many- Pickelhaube Press has two by Nigel Smith, and the Prussians didn't change much from 1866 to 1870.

I just use my 1870 Prussians, Austrian uniforms I did mainly based on the relvant Osprey (I use the same Austrians for 1859, so they wear nice smart white jackets rather than nasty grey greatcoats), Italians are either just in greatcoats and shakos or are Garibaldini.

The Garibaldini were the hardest to find uniform info on as they didn't really have a uniform.

Everything you need, including uniform details with colour illustrations, is in the excellent book by John Pocock, "Bitter Victory: the Battle of Custoza 1866"

See link for example.

….In general as regards the Italians uniforms were not so different from 1859's ones….garibaldini (Cacciatori delle Alpi) fought in 1866 with a true regular uniform with pale blu/grey greatcoat, white, blue or b/g trousers , blue low képi with green band instead of the covered shako of the line
