During the reimagined Battlestar Galactica series, one of the civilian ships of the rag tag fleet had a prominent role that spanned several episodes.

There's info and pictures here (and if you haven't seen the show, there are SPOILERS here)

So I've been scouring the net and I haven't found any models or miniatures of this well-known ship.

There are plenty of models reflecting background ships--ships audiences only had a brief glimpse of. But nothing of the Demetrius.

Is there anything out there?

Is anyone working on anything out there.

If there are any sculptors out there, I'd love a ship around 4" to 5" for gaming purposes.

Looks kinda like something from GW's BFG (minus guns and skulls. ;)

Zephyr1 nailed it. Any number of BFG Imperial ships could be converted to that configuration pretty easily.

Ravenstar Studios just came out with several Civilian ships but that was not one of them.

Some of his ships might work as a stand-in

I have ordered from Hanger 18 and been very happy with the products.

Is there a particular Hanger 18 model that might work?

The Battlefleet Gothic might also work.

But I still can't believe someone made a model of the Celestra, but not the Demetrius.

Not sure if there is a particular model, because I am not that familiar with the Demetrius. Based on my quick scan and memeory he has some stuff that was similar. Even some of the armed ships could be converted. There are pictures from different angles, plus sizes are usually listed below the pictures.

So I've been scratch building a Demetrius over the last few weeks. The ship has a lot of odd pieces and angles. It's been quite a challenge.
