I was wondering if anyone knows of a link that leads to information on them? I've googled but not been all that successful.
I was wonder if each book was just a collection of mixed senerios or if they are aimed at particular campaigns or years etc.
regards
Max

Thanks everyone for the time and effort you took in the responses. That is about all anyone could ever need to know about the senerio books!

I bought General de Brigade to use with Liberators the Napoleonic Wars in south America. It was a little complicated to use (what do you do with gaucho cavalry and 3 pounder guns), but I liked them.

On the strength of that experience I bought Guns at Gettysburg and a scenario book the includes Valverde and Pigeon Ranch today.

I didn't know what was in the Napoleonic scenario books until I hit this tread.

I have 15s for those bits of Marengo. And I have some 25s for Egypt but I doubt enough. I have a box of unpainted 15mm goods with 1813 French, Prussians, and Russians.

I found a site that described the size and complexity of the GaG scenarios. I'm off to look for the same now for the GdB scenarios.

Been using these rules for a couple of years now. In 28mm, even on a 12x6 table, I've had to scale down on the number of units occasionally. Aside from the 1, 2nd and 3rd editions, I have no qualms about using any scenario/battle. What I like about each edition's scenarios, is the author frequetly will take a section of a battle. Works well.
