That's the problem with ST minis and all those nacelles, Bensculpt. A lot of other designs store much better, and modern pewter sure takes the knocks! :) |

If you want to go the Paper route there are lots of Star Trek Counters (Fan Made) out there. If you don't mind the older Star Trek look head over to the star fleet battles website. link

The original Zocchi ships for Trek were injection plastic and very lovely. No bent bits there. Mine are 25 years old and still pristine link – mind you half of them are in balls for 3D Star Trek. I believe you can still purchase the plastic injection ships John T |

Are the Zocchi plastic Star Trek ships still available for sale? If so, who carries them, and do they come with decals, or do those need to be purchased separately? |

You can still get them – apparently – from the Starfleet store: link John T |

Hi John, Thanks for the link. I hadn't seen them listed anywhere for some time. Seems strange you can get a cloaked Federation cruiser, and other vessel, but no cloaked Klingon/Romulan ones. Best regards,

The 'cloaked' Fed ships are clear plastic ones for Zocchi. They also did glow in the dark versions since they had the molds. For years they sold the clear and glow ones since when painted, you never knew the difference as stock of the white or cream plastic ones was getting low. I guess they did recently cast more plastic Fed, something they haven't done in many, many years so prices were going up on the new ones as before they were just selling old stock. These Klingons and Romulans were never made out of plastic, always, pewter so no way to make a clear petwer mini, thus no cloaked versions. You can get decals here: link |
