Looks nice! A very busy model. Well done. (Where's the driver?
.taking a break behind a tree?) 8>) You should ALWAYS post a size/scale! (15mm?) Best Tom Dye GFI |

This looks very very promising. Does anyone know if the new company plans any other post WWII ranges in 15mm? I know they have a lot to do for Vietnam but I would love to hear from them about the direction they plan to take this venture. Dennis ps I assume these are 15mm |

Tom, You get the prize for best forward scout. After I posted the pic I looked at it and couldn't work out what was missing, then it hit me, damn! There is a driver included as well. Good pick up Tom. |

Dennis, They are 15mm, yes. All Flashpoint product is 15mm. Once production kicks off in about 10 days we will be getting the Vietnam range back on track. We will then fill in a few holes in the current product offerings and then finish Vietnam with lines for ARVN, etc. We will immediately also have available the middle east range of Rangers, Delta's and militants. While we haven't 100% decided what after that, we will be doing other modern era, which ones I think will be determined by what you guys ask for. I know that isn't a definitive answer but it is the best I can give from compnay that has only been back on its feet for one week. |

Thank you for the response. I always thought Flashpoint should have done the Rangers, Delta's and militants in 15mm. This might just get me headed back in your direction. Dennis |

Dennis, Don't tell anyone, but, we have all three product in both "Heroic" 15mm (17-18mm) and standard 15mm! |

Tail end Charlie: I've done the same (or similar) thing when pumping some of our new releases! (I don'tt feel as bad now
.thanks!) 8>) Since you have only been back for a week, don't "assume" everyone knows "your scale" is 15mm! I wasn't sure until you acknowledged it! Looking forward to seeing your entire range! I may add 15mm to the scales I do Vietnam in. (My mainstay is 12mm, with some 20mm as a sideline.) Good luck, and tell the drive to ditty back into the track! 8>) Tom Dye GFI |

Fields of Fire has been all abuzz with the chatter related to Flashpoints relaunch. As someone who primarily uses this range for 15mm Vietnam, I am as happy as a clam to see them both back from hiatus and sharing their planned releases with us FP lovers! The release of this model is highly anticipated! -B6 |

Hey Privateer (Dave Brasteen perhaps?) I sincerely wish that this was the case
The M113 model as illustrated by Tail End Charlie was the only completed and produced vehicle product for Flashpoint to date. The Hull itself is a rapid protoyped piece, the crew sculpted by myself and the extra curricular items (doors, hatches etc) I commissioned the talented Karl Cederman to complete. We did have a Huey on the table and although a beautiful model it is indeed it has remained only half complete for the past 6-7 months. M48, LVTPs are still and have only ever been small rectangular blocks of hardened apoxy sculpt and by no means anywhere near completion (or even visible identification for that matter) Artillery pieces are non existant
Unfortunately for myself circumstances have changed and I have moved on from this range although I am in discussions with the new owner company as we speak. As for the apparent going-ons behind the scenes I would advise you to seek fact before commenting
the biggest and in fact major contributing factor to the ultimate sale of Flashpoint Miniatures was a certain lack of attention to schedules and deadlines and an abundance of excuses
which as anyone with half a clue knows does not make for good businss practice. I for one know that Seige Work Studios has this under control with additonal resources available to pursue a comprehensive if not complete supporting vehicle range. I look forward to seeing which direction Ken and Drew take this range

Hello all, Ken and I are very excited with our leap into moderns, although Ken already has a great background in moderns, working closely with Anton on the flashpoint website and in playtesting and co-writing flashpoint reloaded the second edition, which to date has not been published. So far Siege Works Studios has been planning and publishing its Horse and Musket rule sets, like Koenig Krieg, koenigkrieg.com. But with the purchase we will be diving into moderns with the same enthusiasm as we do with our Horse and Musket projects. Once the moulds arrive on Australian shores fom our brother across the sea, production will begin. Many projects as Anton has correctly pointed out were under way in New Zealand but these projects never reached the international shores. Happily for Siege Works Studios we have been listening and will continue to listen to what you – the customer, would like to see from future expansion of our Vietnam and Moderns range. Many of those projects begun but not completed such as the Huey etc are being logged as serious points for consideration based on your discussions and wishes. So, as soon as production comes online we will be launching 2 new products straight away. These were 2 projects the New Zealand company finished before shutting their doors but never had the opportunity to release – until now. For your gaming pleasure, The M113 and the remastered NVA will be launched along with all the many other Ranges previously on offer. The figure sculpts are really, really nice and the combined skills of Anton and Karl on the M113, well the model speaks for itself. We have heard a desire for Hueys, ARVN, Modern Chinese and a number of other suggestions or wishes to be added to our moderns/vietnam figures ranges. We take all on board and over the next few months will have a release schedule for more goodies. We are in talks with Anton the "Man of steel" (who is responsible for sculpting so many quality products in so short a time frame), to continue on as sculptor for these ranges. We are very excited to see more of his amazing work. Also we are looking into producing some trucks, river boats, boxes, ammo crates, gasoline drums, stowage etc to add flavour to your gaming tables. As Ken said we have only been in the Flashpoint business end of things for a week so things are still in the set up stage. That said we will be fleshing out the existing ranges straight away and bringing out a few new products in addition to this. There are discussions regarding a new set of Vietnam rules and if we go down this route you will definantly see the ARVN and many other cool products out before xmas
Stay tuned and check out our website flashpoint-miniatures.com for great pics and more info
. Regards Drew |

Did I hear those magic words, modern chinese? I've got about $400 USD ready to drop on the first company to bring modern chinese infantry to market in either 15mm or 20mm. |

as another point of interest privateer. The fact that you even new of these projects indicates a clear and decisive breach of the confidentiality agreement signed between the partnership of the time. Interesting nonetheless! Oh well onwards and upwards as they say! |

Well, all that matters is that Flashpoint is back in country and not a rumor anymore. Thank you SWS for bringing this line back for round 2 and hope you say with your line Anton! |

Got some of the M113s from flashpoint and they are sweet. A lot of potential to make a impressive and mobile force to assist the poor soldiers. |
