I had a similar incident and it took forever. For me to resolve the whole order (over $200, and it was a 'test' order as I do with any new company I order from), it took about eight or nine months. I tried to contact him innumerous times, but only got three in return.
First one said that he was a tad behind.
The second was that he got sick, and that I should cut some slack. He then said that he would fill my order next week.
Then, a few months later, he said that he sent the package out the month before and it must be held in US customs. About a week later, the package did arrive (POSTMARKED a few days AFTER the e-mail
). When I did open it up, most of the pieces were broken (due to almost no packing material in the box. The box itself looked intact). I decide not to try to send them back for non-broken ones, but decided that it was not worth another nine months of headaches. I just bought a lot of superglue and fixed them myself.
If I were you, I would e-mail him asking the status of your order. Everyday. Until you get a response. And stay diligent.
Its too bad that the service is really horrible, for Monolith really has some great looking models and terrain and I was hoping to order more. If the service was good, I would have ordered it again, but as the ole saying goes, "once bitten,
."
And its a bad sign when Brigade Games, who used to carry this line, has on their web page, "Due to inability to get a consistent supply and new releases, we are dropping this line". Also a bad sign.
Good luck. You will need it.
