Contact Doug Kline at Battlefield Terrain Concepts (www.battlefieldterrain.com); he sells some beautiful 15mm wooden snake fence kits. I don't know if he still carries Musket Miniatures 5-rail metal fences, but those are the models I prefer for traditional post-and-rail fences. In my collection, I also have a lot of older 3-rail metal fences from Stone Mountain. Also, Randy Miller of Acme Terrain sells finished and flocked 10-15mm snake rail fences made from resin, as well as unfinished. |

BTC sells kits to make yourself that are first rate. I think there are the best on the market right now. Also Paper terrain makes them in 15mm as well. VR James Mattes |

You also have the option of making them. Snake fencing is very cheap to build and extremely simple. All I do is buy a box of round tooth picks and cut off the pointed end. I then stack them using white glue or tacky glue. I'll usually work on about 10 feet at a time(20 bases). For the actual base I use the thin plastic you get from for sale signs. I then spray paint the whole thing with a flat brown, dry brush the fence with a lighter shade and then put dirt and static grass on the bass. I can usually get about 10' done in 1-2 hours so the time spent is well worth the money saved. Overall I think I paid about $4-6 for all my ACW fencing and I have about 25-30 feet of it and still have enough extra stuff when I'm in the mood to make more. |

I use flat toothpicks myself but depends on the personal taste. Cheers, The Bandit |

Or you can get those balsa or basswood rectangular strips (1/16 or 1/32 width?) you can find at hobby lobby. |
