Just back from the Michael's in Pan Am Center, Fairfax VA. The plastic cases, clear, blue and lime green are 1/3 off making them around $6.99. They are said to be 12X12 and approx 2+" deep. I fit 28mm soldiers and cavalry easily. Only tall standards will have a problem. Also this store had various Woodland scenics trees on a school diorama display for $8.99. Trees were 4 put together with foliage. Happy shopping guys. |

These cases work great for 3"x3" bases as are commonly used for Grande Armee and Volley and Bayonett. I've got one that I'm using for my French for the Grande Armee system until I come up with a more permanent solution. I'm pretty satisfied with it too so far. Skipper |

I picked some up on sale about 6 weeks ago. I used foamcore and made up a tri-divider and then stored all of my Star Wars miniature cards in them. They are on their sides, but the plastic card sleeves you put cards in work great as dividers. |

I got the 16x16 boxes that came in a 6 shelf rolling unit. retailed for 70 but with a 40% off coupon it was quite a steal! Awesome for my 28mm ACW w/the exception of my standard bearers. Thank god for those ladies in the craft world. If it was designed for gamers and marketed towards gamers my setup wouldve been $150 USD :) |

"Just back from the Michael's in Pan Am Center, Fairfax VA" Hey, I shop at that store for silver thread to use as barbed wire. And then go to the computer store next door. |

I got the 16x16 boxes that came in a 6 shelf rolling unit. retailed for 70 but with a 40% off coupon it was quite a steal! I did this same thing for my 15mm French Napoleonics. At 1:60 I can fit about one army corps per box / tray. I don't know that I'd call it a steal with 40% off but I've looked a lot and one won't find it cheaper. I'll soon be shopping for a second one as the painted and based figures continue to increase. My only real complaint is that the trays of the rolling shelf are not squared off on the sides, Target carries a similar rolling shelf but it is white and I prefer the black one I have. Cheers, The Bandit |

Micro center is next door. One or both of those stores was a chain hardware store in the eighties. I worked at Merrifield PO Distribution Center down on Lee Highway for 20 yrs. Very familiar to me. |
