Well we just got the artwork back for our MechaSpider that will be released with our superhero line. It will be about 2 inches long by an inch high and will have 5 different variants that are armed differently. Here are some pics of the art: The main chasis picture Weapon configurations picture Some of you will remember the John Henry model we showed earlier. These MechSpiders are the Minions of one of John Henry's arch enemies, Dr Mangalore the Cyber-Supremisist. We are trying to have the spiders made without a definitive scale so they can be used in any number of scales and for any game you like, from 6mm up. Hope you enjoy! |

Until I saw the pic for the weapon variants and how they attach to the spider's back
I thought the round thing on it's back was a spare tire. :) |

Yes, very much like a Tachikoma, with a different-shaped back pod and more legs. From a post elsewhere, It sounds like it's the right size for a 28mm Tachikoma. |

With these new bits, it can pass for a non-manga version. picture picture picture picture Gatling hood, 28mm crew hatch that drops over weapons mount, and small-scale cockpit to turn the beast into a mech for smaller scale games. These are freebies I threw in, and are entirely at Comfy Chair's discretion to mold. No pressure ;) Best, John Bear Ross johnbearross.com |

JBR is a wizard! I have the Prototype right here and I cannot believe the detail on this little monster! I felt like a kid on Christmas when the package arrived today and every bit I inspected only got me more fired up! I'm sending it to the Production guys tomorrow because I'm so excited. I'm hoping for a quick turn around so we can get these into customers hands and announce a contest we are holding along with this release. |

Hmm, I didn't notice the rivets on the CG design for some reason. Maybe my mind just blotted them out (-;) Anyway, IMCO the abdomen would've looked better without them. But it's still a very nice model and seems to have worked well for the casting. |

Ah, the fused version went into production after all. I knew the production guys could do it. The separated version still made it there, though, I trust? Great job. I can't wait to see them painted up. Best, John Bear Ross johnbearross.com |

I got a couple of Rocco's recently and think it is an excellent mini – probably the best not-Thing translation of the Thing body-type that I have yet found (across several minis ranges no less). The bodysuit is an excellent touch and the sculpting gives it a real modernist feel with the seams. |
