I just got my not-Blackadder and Baldrick figures from Too Fat Lardies and they're quite nice, although the proportions seem a bit more realistic than I'm used to. I set them next to some Crusader WWII Germans on my bookshelf and the difference was almost comical. Any ideas as to what will mix well with them? TMP link |

I don't think you're going to find many current ranges that'll mix well withe the not-Blackadder and not-Baldrick. They'd certainly be dwarfed by the likes of Great War Miniatures or Renegade, and maybe even by the Woodbine Design Company figures. Heightwise, the giveaway figs are close enough to Musketeer Miniatures BEF, but are much, much slimmer. The Foundry Great War BEF might also be an okay mix heightwise. Lovely miniatures, though. Very pleased that I have them. |

I find it rather amusing that being (more) realistic is a demerit! They look fine to me. TC |

Well, I'd hardly call it a demerit, the figures are very nice indeed. The trouble is matching them! Now if they had included not-George, not-Melchett, and not-Darling, I wouldn't have this problem! Maybe even not-Bob and not-Flashheart? |
