I'm looking for an easy set of rules that i can use for both Napoleon era and ACW era. Fast play to. I don't have enough time to dedicate to time consuming rules. Thanks everyone. All opinions welcome.

Field of Battle by Piquet. Easy to learn and play very quickly.

Thanks,

John

I ordered them and have them on hand. Will be reading through them. Thanks for the input John.

I'll echo John and say FoB for battalion/regimental games and then V&B for Brigade level games.

New; Napoleon's Legacy from Portbury Knights. If you've played games like Warmaster then you will pick up on this very quickly. Has all the formations etc and comprehensive army lists; get that Spanish Army chasing the French in 1812!!

By the way all profits from the sale of the Napoleon's Legacy book go to The British Kidney Patients Association.

Stefan can i get these in the States? Ill have a go at them.

Stefanpanzer17 Mar 2009 6:51 a.m. PST

P&P to the States will be £5.00 GBP a copy I am afraid. We are a club so rely on our own efforts. We have MCS miniatures in Uk about to sell but again UK only. Getting stock to USA will be rather expensive as well. Rather sad.

Stefanpanzer17 Mar 2009 6:59 a.m. PST

We might have a links problem at Portbury Knights. You will shortly be able to buy through MCS Mini's in the Uk or e-mail me direct on 'stefan@moverdynamics.co.uk' to order. I will send a paypal request. Usually 2 days delivery in UK unsure about the rest of the world!

We are hoping that Magister Militum in the Uk will be stocking the book shortly as well.

Stefanpanzer20 Mar 2009 7:39 a.m. PST

Magister Militum will have Legacy in stock at Salute!

Stefanpanzer21 Mar 2009 6:04 p.m. PST

Legacy now listed in the Magister on-line catalogue.
