Last spring Ten High was good enough to send me a large batch of samples for my new 10mm ACW project, and at long last they have made it to my 10mm wargaming site at: 10mmworld.com This is a very extensive range of ACW figures, with some hard to find uniform options like the Hardee Hat, and some energetic command and cavalry poses. There are over 100 photos on the site now, so you should be able to get a good idea of their offerings. As for size, the comparison photo with GHQ and Langton figures shows that the figures are on the smaller side of 10mm, but that the thicker bases make them able to fit with somewhat larger figures. Hey Christopher. I have about 1500 of Ten High painted up. The were some of the first 10mm figs released for the ACW. I mounted mine 16 to a base in three lines 4 skirmishers out front on a 2" x 2" base for VnB. Certainly not the best line out there. However, they do look pretty cool enmasse. Thanks, John |

those figures do look like they were produced several decades ago. The metal looks "old", pitted, et al. I too have seen them in some hobby stores, where it was evident they had been sitting for 20 years or so. maybe "state of the art" back then, but not now. |

For as old as they are, they are not bad looking. I'm sure they paint up well. I would use them to round out my 10mm armies, especially since you can't get Old North State figures anymore. Perrin just doesn't do it for me. GHQ are beautiful but too thin for gaming. |

I use AIM for my Generals and some other figs too. They fit well together. 10High will never win beauty awards. But having painted up a shed load of them they do look ok on the tabletop. They were dirt cheap when i bought them. My wife bought me about 900 for Christmas one year. :-D Great wife! :-D Thanks, John |

Thanks guys. I'm trying to catch up on other little updates people have sent me, so I'll have a list of other additions over the next day or two. I didn't know the history of the line, but even if they are (and even appear) a little older, I've found that many such lines can still provide some extra variation in large units, or some other options for command stands, etc. It's also true that these "super close up" photos sometimes disguise the look of figures based en masse (like John's).
