I received a Heroclix figure from an Ebay Buy it Now order (slightly less then 20 figures) and all but one were fine. But that one arrived with a broken leg – with a thread of still sticky glue holding the broken leg (it is the one with the tab that goes into the base) still dangling. It seems obvious it broke, was glued, and came apart in transit despite some super efficient packing efforts. Never underestimate the ability of USPS to "do a job"..I mean their job
with a package. Or am I wrong in thinking it was shipped broken? A simple broken leg is one thing (happened before) but with it appearing to have been glued prior to shipping, well, that's disappointing. Otherwise I am very happy with the figures. I left positive feedback for them but have not left feedback for this one. I sent a mesage to the seller asking what we can do about the figure that was sent with a glued broken leg. His/Her rating is over 99% with a fairly large volume of buisness and another one is in his/her Ebay store. My expectations are either a new figure (and I return the broken one) or some amount of refund. Am I being reasonable in this matter? Gracias, Glenn |

So, it's okay to have a miniature break, not mention it, glue it, and just mail it? Anyone else agree/disagree? There is much worth in many counselors (to paraphrase.) Gracias, Glenn |

Naw, it's pretty cheesy. But, if it were a 99 cent fig, ah'd just reglue it. still not cricket, though. |

Yes. Uless the item was listed as in need of repair or newly repaired, you got hosed. True, it isn't a high dollar item, but this jumps into the whole "Principal of the Thing" catagory. |

On the other hand, it might not have been the sellers fault. I get lots of thing damnaged in the mail all the time. Not just from eBay. I think my post office tries to mash stuff sometimes. I once got a Netflix envelope bent in half. As in THE DISK WAS BROKEN IN HALF! I am guessing that Netflix didn't do that. Gorilla glue it, and move on. |
