Finished the first set of 24 bases for Thud Ridge.

(no need to become a member for that section, don't worry)

We changed the increments to 25mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm from the originals, as I don't yet trust the higher stands. As soon as I do I have the option to go up 2 height levels (125mm and 150mm) and make "on the deck" bases (10mm or lower). Square bases fit in hexes as well so that is a nice bonus.

For now, no new bases, just more aircraft and a few objectives and most importantly, games.

Enjoy,

Johan

Those are nice looking bases. Do you keep track of the altitude, speed, & other info on charts? Kevin

Very interesting but the terrain has drawbacks if you are playing over a photo-map game mat. But awesomely cool anyway.

Gracias,

Glenn

Thx guys

Miscmini: Yes, that has my preference to filling the table with marking dice and other assorted junk that doenst belong there. Still have a working laminator to make cards for the aircraft, after this weekend I'll see what kind of card I'll make and then create a master file for them.

Glenn: I can't afford stuff like photo maps, we just use a single colour sheet to have fun and will place small objectives on the table if we need to bomb stuff. Just need to make those.

For the next lot someone has been twisting my arm to do rice paddy bases. We'll see about that. Should be interesting, as I haven't played a single game yet. :)
