I got some of the GZG Aliens, and they are excellent. Does anyone make Aliens with guns in 15mm or maybe 20mm or 25mm that I could sub in?

What about the 15mm Spugs from Spriggan Miniatures?

Thanks,

John

This weekend? Awesome!

What sort of weapons will they have?

There's the Aphids from Zombiesmith.

Draconians and a few others from Stan Johansen (sp?).

Gorilla Games' Battlestations has a few armed aliens.

15mm.co.uk has a bunch of different alien types, limited poses, though.

Peter Pig has Phugs, and headswaps to make lizard- and canine-headed troops, and some of their fantasy types (Barsoomian Green Martians) would work.

QRF makes 'Predator' types, I think they've got guns.

I'm pretty sure there's one or two I'm missing, though.

As for larger-scale stand-ins, GZG's 25mm Kravak might make for some…interesting 'giant' aliens. The humans could use Heavy Gear walkers to go up against them…and there's the 25mm Phalon, too, for the same idea.

(The more I think about that, the more interesting it becomes. Cheesy, perhaps, but fun and strange!)

Kravak and Phalon both come in 15mm.

GZG also has the new Ixx insect troops with guns.

15mm.co.uk has more cartoony & 50s looking Greys.

Do you mean aliens or Aliens?

nvdoyle20 Feb 2009 6:26 a.m. PST

JRacel – Yep, but I was thinking of using the 25mm versions as 'giant aliens', in the Zentraedi/Macross/Robotech mold.

I really meant "Aliens" from the movies of same name, but I really like the regular alien suggestions because I handn't thought of them. So either way is fine. :-)

You mean 'Aliens' aliens, Xenomorph-types, with guns?

Well, Bleeped text, just infest me now, they win. grin

Well, the GW little tyranids (can't remember the name – termagents maybe) were pretty much along these lines and had guns.
