Okay, who's going to be first to click on *that* link? |
| Sysiphus | 17 Feb 2009 3:58 p.m. PST |
I think Bill should
it's like a live mine just sitting there |
| mad monkey 1 | 17 Feb 2009 4:03 p.m. PST |
I was expecting to see Turk and the crew. Only slightly disappointed. ;) |
| Cacadores | 17 Feb 2009 4:56 p.m. PST |
It was almost going to be a scratch 'Snatch'. But as you can see, I got my hands on an Italian model instead. Doing the back door was the hardest part. |
| idontbelieveit | 17 Feb 2009 5:09 p.m. PST |
That's not a very clean snatch. |
| andygamer | 17 Feb 2009 5:12 p.m. PST |
If I might get a bit serious here, do you use the TWaT rules modified for moderns? |
| StarfuryXL5 | 17 Feb 2009 6:37 p.m. PST |
That's not a very clean snatch. Probably because of all the activity with the back door. |

Man, you guys crack me up! |
| Cacique Caribe | 17 Feb 2009 10:26 p.m. PST |
Ay, ay, ay. I knew I shouldn't have ventured into this thread. Like a moth to a flame, I guess. CC |

It looks like WALL-E is about to ambush them in the 3rd pic! |
| By John 54 | 18 Feb 2009 3:39 a.m. PST |
So you trouble 'bashing the back doors in'? Snigger. |
| kreoseus2 | 18 Feb 2009 8:44 a.m. PST |
what is the link for , i am NOT clicking on it in work ? |
| andygamer | 18 Feb 2009 10:57 a.m. PST |
It's a Safe For Work conversion job on a soft-skinned vehicle, kreoseus2, I think of a civilian toy vehicle into a militarized, "moderns" one. |
| Cacadores | 18 Feb 2009 11:03 a.m. PST |
kreoseus2 ''what is the link for , i am NOT clicking on it in work?'' It shows a Snatch, obviously :-) Censored version here (4th photo, scroll down) link Ivan DBA ''It looks like WALL-E is about to ambush them in the 3rd pic!'' It is indeed Wall-e, who has crept up to the snatch unawares
.. andygamer ''If I might get a bit serious here, do you use the TWaT rules modified for moderns?'' Now come on, playing with TWaT is just a Bush-baiting game. |

I think that snatch needs a trim, looks a little rough. Isn't cheesecloth usually used for camo netting. The model looks like it has been covered in coconut frosting. |
| Cacadores | 18 Feb 2009 2:29 p.m. PST |
Crusoe, Fair enough, first attempt. Still, have a look a real snatch: link cheesecloth doesn't really cover it: and coconut frosting sounds tasty. Be interested to see how you do it. |
| By John 54 | 19 Feb 2009 3:30 a.m. PST |
Crusoe, I think Cacadores has it right on the camo netting, its a much denser 'weave' for the desert pattern, and, I think its looks great IMHO. |
| Cacadores | 19 Feb 2009 9:07 a.m. PST |
By John 54, At least someone with a sensible comment. I think the rest of you might be the type my mother warned me against. Thanks that man. It's more like shredded plastic sheeting, than netting: you can't see the snatch through it. The Snatch is a Vixen.
I can tell you. |

wish someone would make these in 20mm |
| archstanton73 | 30 Jun 2009 5:11 p.m. PST |
20mm snatch
Don't S&S do that or even Brittania??? |
| Supercilius Maximus | 01 Jul 2009 4:13 a.m. PST |
According to a friend in the Army, the real reason it's called a "snatch" is because only a complete c-c-c-cabinet minister would think it was safe to drive round in one in a war zone. |
| 6paul6 | 08 Jul 2009 3:35 p.m. PST |
