"Studio Bergstrom- Battlestar Galactica Minis" Topic

Just got a shipment of Studio Bergstrom Galactica Minis, and Here's my 411!

I purchased 24 "Old Style" Cylon Raiders, 24 "New Style" Raiders, 36 "Old Style" Vipers and 12 "New Style" Vipers.

All fighters are in the Micro-scale, suitable for Full Thrust or Starmada (Or GOBS or whatever).

I am mounting them two to a custom stand. They are superbly detailed and each has a mounting hole on the base suitable for a fine wire (I use Paper-clip wire)

The only figher I have a very minor quibble on is the "Old Style" Raider. The "Wing tips" are a little stubby compared to the old series ships. The detail, however, is absolutely first-rate. I recommend them without hesitation.

In addition, I have a "New Series" Battlestar, a "New Series" Pegasus, as well as two "Old Series" Battlestars, two "Old Style" Cylon Base Ships, a "New Style" Basestar, and a "New Style" Cylon Megastar.

All of these ships have high levels of detail very amenable to drybrush layering.

The "Old Series" Battlestars are flat-bottomed (I think originally so it laid flat on the game board) and the Fighter Pods on the "New Style" Battlestar are the same flat bottomed, even though the Battlestar hull is detailed well on the bottom.

Overall I Highly recommend all of them. They are very reasonably priced and the fighter in particular are exceptional.

Also, Bergstrom Shipped them Saturday Morning and I got 'em today. Superb service in all regards.

My Galactica(s) are drying from the primer coat right now and I can't wait to get them painted.

I'm gonna have to work on the Pegasus to get her on a magnetic stand – there is a lot of metal there.
