Could Perry Bros. historical miniatures(such as samurai) be used alongside their Lord of the Rings figures without looking out of scale? Are they "true" 28mm, or "heroic"? |

They are slightly smaller than "heroic" scale Warhammer stuff, but not so much smaller. I have no LotR miniatures, but here they are compared to 5th edition Bretonnians: picture picture The big difference is that their horses are not as big and chunky as the WHFB horses. |

The big difference is that their horses are not as big and chunky as the WHFB horses. But then Japanese horses aren't as big as European horses anyway … |

Seems like they would look fine next to some of the LotR stuff, since I've noticed the metal elves are a bit bigger than the plastic ones. Thanks for the pictures. |

Its misleading to compare the Brettonians against Perry, as the LOTR figures bear no resemblance in size to the Brettonians… particularly the horses…. I would say Perry and LOTR are a reasonable match. |

Have a lot of lothr and perry miniatures. I think that the resemblance is very close…better late than never : ) |
