I hope Teresa sees this and responds. I think others besides me might be interested. 1) I see the standard bearers are designed to take pianowire staffs. This is excellent. However, are the hands drilled out before they are painted, to hold the wire? My experience is that one has to grip a figure pretty hard to bore a hole in the hands, with the potential for damage to the paint job. 2) My interests are ACW, which I will purchase some of at Cold Wars, and AWI. The packaging for ACW, that is 20 rank and file, and packs of six standard bearers, or drummers, or officers, or sergeants, seems fine, because I'll be getting multiple regts in identical uniforms. But for AWI, with different facings, how will the command be packed? I can't use, say, 6 officers in yellow facings. I noticed no command were shown for the Napoleonics, which have the same problem. Will there be, as was originally announced, a regt'l pack including a few each of the command types? |

doc mcb, The ACW Standard Bearers have open hands, they do not need to be drilled. The Napoleonic and AWI will come with Command packs that are 8 to 10 figures depending on how many standard bearers. So each command pack will have 2 sets of command. 2 Officers, 2 drummers, 2 Sergeants, 2 or 4 Standard bearers (which ever is applicable). There will be sets for each of the color facings. I hope that answers your questions. Teresa |

Yes, great, thanks! I think that arrangement is sensible. |
