I will be psoting a similar suggestion to the ^mm Yahoo forums, but I'll ask here. . . What would be the interest in a sprue of 6mm armed and unarmed civilians? they could also cover for modern civvies as well, though a varity of clothing like GZGs Street Level figures scaled down would do nicely. Just handy to have as rebels or general rabble for FIBUA, or as some "useful assistance"/targets in bug hunts. They do seem to be overlooked by manufacturers though important in some scenarios I've seen – and the closest at the moment is the Exodus wars Edenite Zombies, who look too ill to convert/use :) Anyone? |

"
Do we need to start a Liberty and Union Board?
" This was posted to one board when it could have been cross-posted to a gazillion, was about a possible Sci-Fi use for these kind of potential figures, and there has not exactly been a flood, (several does not seem like a massive amount,) of these kinds of posts. Covert Walrus, I am already committed to several other areas (WW1 plane sprues and hopefully GZG IC 15mm soldiers) so I can help you on this. Spreading myself over too many promises means I can't keep some if they all come to pass. Gracias, Glenn |

No problem, Gless, though you will probably run across the idea elsewhere. Might be an idea to take it to a more specialised board I suppose – Though a lot of people who might have been interested will miss it, it's better than offending someone.

I'd buy them. Not sure about the popularity of civilians though. There's a 28mm suggestion for unarmed civilians and it's getting nowhere. Having said that, the description on L&U League is way too specific which probably puts off most potential buyers. I suggested a more generic modern/near future look but this hasn't been taken up and probably means these useful figures will get nowhere near 1000. So my advice would be to phrase the description in the most general terms and post it to both modern and SF lists. |

Off Topic alert! "Gless"? LOL, I love it – have to add it to my "ways to misspell my name" list! Computers are even worse. "Glenn Morris Wilson Jr." has been lsited in data bases under G, W, J, and even M so far. It's been spelled with one N in Glen, two L's in Wilson, and once (obviously a typo but what a hassle to correct) as "Wislon." Even Worse there was a "gentleman" with my exact name who lived across the street and wouldn't (or couldn't) pay for a phone. So after the same relative being " Seriously Ill" in another state multiple times I stopped taking calls from that state. He never once offered to pay for the cost. On topic again. Sorry I can't help Covert Walrus. And no problem, I usually find good ideas being suggested by multiple people. I guess offending people is something but it seems some offenses are more real then others. Just IMO. YMMV. And that's not a slam on Tabletop Warrior FTR. He's entitled to raise the question. Maybe we need a poll?? I'll be leaving now
at a run. Gracias, Glenn |

Apologies, Glenn . . . And just to make you happy, my surname actually has something to do with Pecan Rolls in parts of the USA, and locally bits are always being left out; The prize has to go to the person who read it correctly, and pronounced it "Stockwell". And no offense taken, I was just trying to guage a larger sample of thoughts; not everyone is keen on registering on a company site or other discussion boards . . . Not all organisations and individuals have as strict a non-spamming policy as Our Esteemed Editor does. |
