Hi all I'm planning to order some 1/300th modern stores from Skyraider but have come up short on a few weapons. Any suggestions of substitutes for the following weapons? French Matra R.530 French Magic R.550 Soviet AA-10 Alamo Soviet AA-11 Archer Russian AA-5 Ash (pretty unlikely since I dont think anone else has Tu128s in 1/300th) Russian AA-6 Acrid Russian AA-3 Anab (I was going to use AS-10 Karen as its very simialr in size) Russian AA-7 Apex Note I dont mind modifying them to fit the bill :) Or if you have any good scratch building tips I'd be keen to know. I was thinking of putting some plastic rod or maybe brass rod into a electic drill or dremel and shaping to missiles with a file. The tricky part would be making fins. Cheers kieran |

CinC makes a modern Russian air to surface weapons pack that would work well: link |

I've got those already and there are some useful substitutes but not all of the ones I want. Cheers Kieran |

I've been thinking about a lot of holes in the market wrt 1/300 and 1/600 stores. I'm planning to have a chat with a friend who does 3D rapid prototyping (and some modelling parts) about viability of having missiles etc made by his machine. Simon |

That would be a great idea. GHQ, Skyraider, or CinC (now Pfc.) might also consider producing them, if enough people request them. |

The R550 Magic is externally similar to the AIM-9B Sidewinder with an extra set of forward fins. |
