I started with the basic Armaments in Miniature 1/100 scale Fw-190 link . I added some thin plastic sheet to the sides of the cockpits to represent the additional armor of the R8. On one of the Fws I also added plastic sheet to represent the armored glass that some carried. These minis should join up with some 109Gs on a CY6! table at Cold Wars.
