I have posted up pictures of my first almost completed regiment for the Hesse-Witten Freie Stadt, the Musketeers 'Prinz Hapnick'.

These are the first unit in my new Charles Grant's War Game project involving two imagi-nations. I am using Minden Miniatures Prussians. I haven't finished the officers yet but would be grateful for any constructive criticism!

Find them over at:

Oh, WOW! Very nice.

Constructive criticism: paint some for me.

Wow, beautiful figures and excellent brush work. I think that you paint faster than Der Alte Fritz what with 45 figures in one week. I tip my tricorn to you sir.

Could you tell us about the size bases that you are using and what they are made of? Looks like wood mdf and about 3/4" square.

A great debut – compliments and warm welcome to the League of Lace Wars Imagi-Nations! Link added on my own blog.

Nostalgia value: I was 'hooked' to the hobby by 'The War Game' – more decades ago than I care to count.
Gratifying for a retired elderly to watch young people doing what himself no longer does :)

Do you know the 'Emperor vs Elector' collective blog emperor-elector.blogspot.com ?

Best wishes,
Jean-Louis

Impressive!

Many thanks all.

The bases are custom litko ones, they are 15mm frontage and 20mm depth, they are 3mm thick plywood with rounded corners. I believe they are $9.99 USD for 100.

Jean-Louis, I have indeed heard of 'Emperor vs Elector', I am now a member! Which is your blog by the way, any chance of a link?
