Just a quick shout out to Richard at Otherworld for running a fantastic service even though the poor chap is worse for wear at the moment. Give this man your money!

Received the incredible UD1a Skeletons pack and they are just stunning!!

So thanks Richard, and get well soon.

Yep. Otherworld is great.

I love the idol. I just don't have the cash right now. I'll pick it up soon though!

Otherworld rocks. Hope they are back at Salute so I can pick up all the new stuff.

He was always helpful when he ran a store in Cambridge…

Thanks guys, I'm on the mend! I had confirmation today of the cause of my pancreatitis (gallstones), so that pesky gall bladder will soon be no more!

And yes, I'll definitely be at Salute.

Richard

Wow, classic D&D monsters. Those really bring back memories. I'd love to get some, but the prices are kind of high (nearly $16.00 CAD for 3 minis). The pig-faced orcs are very tempting though.

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

I just got my rats, and they are fantastic, far better than they appear online. I can't recommend them enough.

And received my pig faced orcs.

This makes the painting gods happy.

For those of you who are curious, I uploaded some detail shots of the rats this morning:

Otherworld's models really take me back to my boyhood, most of which I spent flipping through my well-worn copy of the old 1st edition Monster Manuel.

Jojojimmyjohn06 May 2009 10:18 p.m. PST

Just received my first round of pig-faced orcs and kobolds. Great Britain to Arizona in a week and a day. Outstanding service and stunning minis.

Yep. Truly exemplary, that company. And they are having their summer sale right now, too. 20% off across the board + free worldwide shipping!
