I'm about 1/3 the way through painting up the figures needed to re-fight Minden later this year.

I'm using Might & Reason and 15mm figures but even so I reckon it's about 670 foot, 146 Horse and 20 gun models.

Anyone else similarly bonkers ………. ?

I think you might be a tad late.

Good idea – something that I will have to consider for this year.

Hey, what's a century or two between friends?

Well I'm using it as a device to get my club into SYW and M&R.

There are a string of 250th anniversaries over the next few years and I quite fancy doing one each summer.

There is also the 250th anniversary of Kunersdorf in 2009 for those who don't think that Frederick was so great.

Well, as Brit I have a bit more affinity to Minden ;-)

That and the fact that one of my mates is serving with the 5th Rifles who still celebrate Minden Day – most of the squaddies have a large 'Minden' tattoo as well ….

yes we are doing Kunersdorf at the club, probaly for our lace wars convention in November.

I would like to do Minden also but alas not enough painting time for that big project!
