In case anyone is interested, after a hyatus I have decided to begin accepting small commissions again. Examples of my works can be seen in the Workbench area of this site or on my blog warcolours.wordpress.com, where you will also find details for contacting me. Thanks for your attention. |

Okay, one example of a fantasy set of figures. Do you paint historical figures? Sci-Fi? Non-GW? You don't paint armies and "
units will have to be discussed
" so I am thinking you only paint characters/leaders if possible? You paint 6mm thru 28mm. So you do 6mm but no armies and "
units will have to be discussed
" – I'm confused. And how so you define "
different painting standards
"? in terms the non-painters among us can understand, please. Gracias, Glenn |

First things first: the correct link is as follows (and I apologize for the mistake): warcolours.wordpress.com Secondly, I admit having expressed things in the wrong way obviously. So, yes, I paint 6mm through 28mm; I paint GW, non GW, historicals and SciFi. Currently the areas that I have dealt most frequently are: GW Fantasy and 40k, 15mm WWII and Ancients, 6mm Napoleonics. On the Workbench section of this site you will see some examples of my work on WWII 15mm (Battlefront) and 28mm fantasy (Chronopia), modern (Corporate Babes) and Napoleonics (Alban Miniatures). Of course the remark about the size of the commissions was directed primarily to the 28mm range, I apologize for any confusion: clearly that does not apply to 15mm and even less to 6mm. Painting Standards too is directed mainly to the 28mm range: I have only one (I think fairly high) standard for 6mm and in 15mm I make a difference only when it comes to particularly intricate subjects, as Napoleonics, Medieval Heraldry or troops in camo gear. For 28mm the standard I try to provide is the highest I can achieve for characters and leaders, anything different from that will have to be discussed. Some GW 28mm are displayed currently on the blog. I hope this clears any confusion I have inadvertedly created, but if you have any other question, please feel free to ask. |
