Does anyone do the larger ground-launched missiles in 1/300 or 1/285? Mobile or fixed, and any nationality is fine, but I'd especially like to find some of the older US SAMs and cruise missiles, like Nike-Hercules, Bomarc, Snark, Regulus, Matador, Mace, etc. There's just something about a winged missile . . . |

"Larege"? Is that a French missile? How about "large". Sheesh! |

Other than the HAWK and Patriot, I don't recall seeing any SAM's, or other US missiles. You can get many Russian SAM's from CinC (now Pfc.), and a few truck mounted, Russian ballistic missiles too. |

I've found some in 1/100 for use with AK47 and I seem to remember some SAMs on the table for a modern armor game (microscale) many years ago. I do remember seeing a plastic model kit of numerous missles (many of the older winged variety), but as the scale was smaller than 1/100 I put it down. IIRC it saw it in a large Model Shop in the South Bay (San Francisco Area). And of course, I've since forgotten the name of the store. Old age is hell on the memory. |

Thanks for the suggestions so far, guys. Jdpintex, I have that set of missiles, as well as the Monogram 1/128 US Space Missiles set (only a few were actual space missiles, though): link And here's Fantastic Plastic's take on the Monogram 1/144 US and USSR Missiles kit: link |

One other point about the Monogram kits. My least favorite part of model kit building is removing the seams from round parts – and these kits are *all* round parts. The end result is beautiful, but it takes some work to get there. :) |

There's also the even older Monogram Missile Arsenal: picture picture Collect Air has one for $600. USD Ouch! link |

I'm pretty sure I built one of those when I was in elementry school. Also built the Saratoga with Cutlass's and Banshee's for the air complement. I can't believe the kits are still around, though for $600 USD I'll just stick with the memories. |

There's also the even older Monogram Missile Arsenal I had that one. I also had the similar Monogram kit of U.S. Jet Aircraft. They were great kits. |
