Last I heard, from Starship Combat News was that there would be a release this month, along with its own web page over on the Ravenstar site. Since then, silence. Anyone know? I've been waiting a long time for this release only to watch it get pushed back over and over again. Thanks |

I'm starting to wonder if this is a cursed line of minis. How many hands has it gone through in the last few years? :) |
| Tarkin | 16 Jan 2009 10:33 a.m. PST |
several
and it reminds me of the warzone game for curses
but that game is still played by me. I'd like to know if there is a game their ships work in. |

Tarkin, Full Thrust. Or whatever you please. Like the minis line when it was first started, the game is generic and it was up to the individual taste of players as to where they used the minis; Strange comcept, but true. Check out the forums at starship combat news for some great ideas for Starmada amongst others. |

coolness and thanks a bunch

No trouble, Tarkin – I'm waiting on the Daisho fleet myself as a stand-in for Indonesian ships and/or USNA forces for ALIENS universe games
. |

Yeah
. I have the Terran ships and the Mauridian Expeditionary Forces fleet boxes. they arte really some nice ships. If I get froggy, I might try and cook up something for them using a d20 as the main die used. How workable it might be is another story
but we knew that. :) |

I think they were getting stats in Squadron Strike too? |

I'm glad to hear there's still a chance of something happening. I have Terrans and Mauridians and would like to expand them a bit and get a Deisho fleet. |

Chris just posted a few days ago on Starship Combat News, the new Ravenstar site with CN is coming up next week.. |
| Ravenstar | 26 Jun 2009 7:54 p.m. PST |
well i missed that , it'll be another week or two. fiishing up new models , bases and lots of other things . the web site is still being worked on . hopefully soon. |

As another FYI about what games they "work with", IIRC, my Terran ships came with stats for Starmada. |
| Covert Walrus | 29 Jun 2009 1:18 p.m. PST |
Well, the Terrans have stats for FT on star ranger's site, so they cna be used for that . . . Since its possible to assemble your own stats for many games, Those games will work for those minis. Though it seems as though Ravenstar is also working on a rules set too. The origianl Cold Navy was meant just to be cool ships that could be used in any system, so the concept is being aminatained somewhat. |

Covert W., Yup. I plan to use mine with FT, but since I'm running them as alien ships, will use my own stats. I think that one of the best things about most space combat games is that you can use "canon" – like the FT fleet books, or create ships as you like to fit what you want to do. Nice mix and lots of cool possibilities. Hm. I should get my Cold Navy Terrans out of the boxes, clean them up and paint them this summer
:) |

Well, Lerchey, if you have a look at the SCN forums, some of the Deisho test shots are up, and what appears to be a Terran Antares Class destroyer . . . Things *are* moving, if slowly . . . |
