The Thames Valley Wargamers held their traditional fun Christmas game on the last meeting before Christmas, a brief report can be found at our blog. The game was set in the Sudan with marauding dervishes trying to stop the British achieving their goal of delivering the Colonel's christmas tree.

Bourne End – that takes me back a bit.

I lived in Penn for a couple of years in 2001/02, and remember my wife tripping over a bunch of Christmas trees in that place just off the Beaconsfield roundabout, and becoming buried in mud and branches.

I was trying so hard not to laugh on the way home that I managed to bite through my lip.

just wish I had known that you guys were around.
