In the last(*) issue of the french magazine Vae Victis – Thématiques Armées Miniatures #4, I wrote an article about the german counter attack on Carentan, on the 13th of June 1944. The 8 pages article features an historical account along with three historical scenarios (company sized games) designed to be played with various rulesets.

I uploaded additional pictures with my 28mm models

Cheers,

(*) And probably the very last issue of this version dedicated to wargames with miniatures (that should be back to the standard version of Vae Victis)

The article looks very interesting, actually so does the magazine shame its the last.

Is there any chance that you might do an english version of your article?

Even though my french is about "0" level from 40 years ago might just pick up a copy of the article anyway, great stuff.

One of my favourite 'battles' to play – would love an English version :-(

My French went out the window once we got a very cute looking french teacher – being 14ish we all just stared droopy eyed and nothing else went in!

Well, it isn't scheduled at the moment but I could do a translation of the scenarios if some of you are interested in.

SgtPerry-
I for one would love to see a translation. Of course that is because you would have to do all the work and not me. Besides, I followed your progress in the making of the buildings and terrain some time back. It would be nice to see how you put it to good use.
