As the teething issues seem to now be sorted and the website is now live, we are offering a special price of 10 packs of our 6mm ancients for £10.00 GBP (excludes elephant packs). rapierminiatures.co.uk |

I have a lot of Ros Heroics already. How do the Rapier figures match with them size-wise? |

They are bigger, Rapier match Baccus in size. |

Looks like a good deal and my 6mm H&R Rep Romans are in need of replacing (20 years and two or three duff paint jobs has put them beyond salvage). But I need a few questions answered before I choose these over Baccus. How are the Republican Roman infantry mounted? 4 or 5 to a strip? How wide are the strips and are they easy to separate? The gallery shows Imperial Romans but they are shown 4 and 5 to a strip and it's not clear if these are like the Heroics & Ros strips, which are thin and make it easy to separate the individual figures. |

Agent Brown, I will endevour to get rep roman pics up today. They bare on strips, as it makes the casting much easier, but the connecting piece is quite thin and easy to seperate the figures on all except Imperial Romans. |

I like the idea that you can have an 1000pt army from £21-£31 but how many figures do you base on an Warmaster 40x20mm base? I have a load of Fantasy 10mm armies painted but I was wondering about using this size? |

For heavy infantry (legionaries, pikes and hoplites in my case) I have two ranks of 8, so 16 on a 40x20 base. Mediums (thureophoroi and warbands) 12-14 and for lights 6-8. These are all H&R. Cavalry are 8, 5-6 and 2-3 respectively but they're all based on the DBX standard of 40x30 so I can get two ranks. |

Certainly 2 ranks of 8 would work, for tightly formed troops 3 ranks of 8 is possible. A lot of it depends on just how dense you want the base to look, which I find one of the advantages of the smaller scales (6mm and 10mm). |

I have 5 1,000 pt Rapier mini's Warmaster armies. They are absolutely the best 6mm available
.IMHO. Larger, but very nicely done. Dave |

Thanks for the replies, I might just delve into a small army of these for a tryout :) |

Is there any chance of getting the rest of the galleries up on the Rapier website, preferably before the sale ends? Failing that, anyone have pictures they can share of the Carthaginians and/or Republican Romans? |
