Gents;

Steve Barber 10mm Romans with VVV decals. Over 300+ figures for almost 650 pts (so far). Not pictured are slingers, LH with bow, and some ballista.

Excellent work. Steve Barber makes the best 10mm Romans in my opinion, so it's great to see them painted up with such much care.

I'm a bit ignorant of some of the things going on in the ancients thread. What are VVV decals? Also, why are some of the roman shields decorated in white and others in yellow? I understand that different legions had different patterns on their shields, and that the auxiliary were often green or blue; but I didn't know that white and yellow decorated shields were contemporaries.

Again, great work on these.

Lovely work David!

I'm still working on my Saleh EIR Roman army, along the lines of the one you sold. If you get in touch, I'd love to mail you some photos…

VVV decals, are Veni Vedi Vici, sold by a nice chap named Justin in the UK. Good stuff and great service. Not sure about the legionary thunderbolt colors. I used white to differentiate battle groups. Thanks for all the nice comments.

Veni Vedi Vici. Of course. Fool that I am, that never occurred to me. Thanks, Dave.
