Hi, I'm trying to gauge interest in the following: 1. Guns of Liberty version 2.5 with upgraded graphics and some minor rule tweaks. Released sometime in 2009. 2. Guns of Liberty version 3.0. This would be with updated graphics, but also I would like to get a lot of constructive feedback from gamers on this so we can hash out new rules and ideas. Which leads me too
3. A Guns of Liberty Yahoo group to gather feedback for version 3.0 and be a resource to newbies that have questions about GoL. Should I make a Yahoo Group? Currently I'm working on a lot of other wargame projects, but I think getting valuable input from GoL gamers would be helpful. Thanks Eric Burgess |

Having volunteered to moderate the GOL yahoo group I will say yes to both two and three
I like the rules, want to see a new edition out and am willing to moderate the yahoo group. Mike O'Brien |

There's a group of us in San Diego that enjoy the rules. We're happy with the current version, so a version 3.0 might not be our thing we'd certainly look at it. A version 2.5 with new diagrams would be nice though. A Yahoo Group would be nice. There were a few questions we had when we first started playing and I'm sure they have been asked before. So a Yahoo group would be nice for looking back at previous questions. A place to put up and download scenarios would be good too. Paul Rigby |

Hi Mike, I will definitely need your help in the moderation as I'm pretty busy in other areas. I'll create the Yahoo Group this week and make an announcement here. Plus send email to GoL folks I have talked with in the past. Eric |

I am definitely interested in a GoL v.3.0. The game has everything right now, including the ability to set-up skirmishers, but could use some more of the friction of battle in the ability of troops to move as their commanders wish them to, barring morale failures, of course. If for whatever reason the moderator position does not work out for Mike, I would be happy to take it on or act as backup. "Paul72," contact me off list at gregoryfk at yahoo dot com to tell me where in San Diego you game. I live in LA, but have occasion to travel south, and would always be up for a game. Cheers, gregoryk

I have a copy of the first edition rules that I wanted to play but haven't got around to trying out yet. Very interested though to hear about a possible GoL 3.0. A Yahoo group sounds like a very good idea too both as a source of rules feedback/suggestions and for GoL newbies, like myself, to post any questions. Ezza |

Eric, When I have run games with your rules I get many compliments on a fun game to play. Let us know about decisions. Joe LePard |

Sorry, my home computer is down right now. It should be up and running on Thursday. I'll have to create the group this weekend. Thanks for the interest! Eric |
