Wondered if anyone could help. Way back in the mists of time someone did a set of rules / notes to convert Kingmaker into a figure campaign? Does anyone have these notes or simular? Thanks |

Look for a Days of Knights (DOK) version too. |

Also, Columbia Games has a War of the Roses game coming out in their block series which would be ideal for a miniatures campaign. |

I followed John's advice and the first hit was to this thread! TMP is definitely at the cutting edge. Jim |

Why do you need help? The boardgame is a natural to create battles. Play the campaign on the board, fight the battles on the tabletop. What's the difficulty here? Almost any rules have points cost systems for building armies. All you have to do is produce a points total within your desired army points size: the KM game gives you the points to points ratios. 1066.us |

Doug, there is nothing wrong with someone asking if the job has been done before. Not everyone has the time to write their own rules. This page has a download for using DBA for Kingmaker: link This page has Ken Blackley's Kingmaker/Days of Knights interface: link Cheers Squash |

Many thanks great links most enjoyable. A great hobby we have with all willing to share. It looks like we will use the WH medieval rules so I need to translate Kingmaker into that system. Has anyone done simualer? It will save me a bit of time Thanks again |

The guys I used to game with at Ramstein used Kingmaker for its campaign movement and Piquet for the table fights. They where all American lads so when they where reading the cards out aloud the pronouciations as they tried to figure out some of the names and locations gave me a good laugh. We had a quick session sorting them out. A Couple of months later they played it at a another convention and had the cheek to slate some of the American lads from another group who where also murdering the same pronouciations :) Joe Brimer i'm talking to you :) |

Pronounciation: I believe it was W. S. Churchill, who quipped that the languages of the world were made to be pronounced in English. Now, WHICH BRAND? I will never say, Pe-REE, but only Paris

Way back in the day I had the idea of using Warhammer (minus all the fantasy rubbish, of course) to simulate battles in KM: Take the knight value score off his card, add a zero, and that's the number of points said knight has in his retinue. Easy as falling off a metaphorical log

There's a Beta version of a WOTR campaign called "A Crown of Paper" (ACOP) in the files section of "Thw Perfect Captain's Treasure Chest" Yahoo Group link Looks a good bit simpler than Kingmaker as a system for generating tabletop WOTR battles. |
