The 1st was 9 Zero's vs 6 P-38's and 3 P-40's. A Japanese victory. Three P-38's were shot down on the 1st turn of combat (I think it was turn 3). The next turn saw one Zero shot down, an Ace shot down by a green American pilot. The next turn sees the American Ace's plane suffer engine damage by a green Japanese pilot. The game ended with the American disengaging.
The 2nd was 4 Ki-61 Tony's and two George's, intercepting 3 Mitchell's and they were escorted by 4 P-47's. The Japanese lost one Tony early. Then one Tony went on to shoot at every one of the B-25's on the next three turns. The 1st suffered engine damage, the next a fire and the third was shot down. Eventually all the B-25's were shot down the next turn. The Tony that went on a rampage was shot each turn, but made it's robustness roll every time.
The 3rd was 4 La-7 and 2 Yak-9's vs. 4 Fw-190s and 2 Bf-109Gs. It was ugly for the Soviets in the 1st two turns that combat took place 1 Yak-9 and 1 La-7 were shot down and one La-7 ran out of ammo. link Mike |

How long did it take you to play these three games? I assume it must have been fast if they were all on Saturday. |

We started around 12:30PM and we were done at 5PM and that was with two people that had never played the game. There were six of us. Mike |

Magfor61- Just a question: Did the P-38s try to mix it up dogfighting the Zeros? Or did they get altitude and come slashing down firing and zoom climb back out of reach again and again? Just wondering - Kimball |
