I`ve posted some pics of my finished 20mm project here – link Interesting unit with some very mixed, odd kit, fought against elements of 21st Panzer during the later final battles for Tunisia. Must have been very brave pitting S-25s and valentines against PzIVs

Wow, what a variety of vehicles! I Love it. I wonder if the Panhard is the RPM model? There're a company from Poland that do a lot of armoured car models. May I suggest something? I absolutely love the display you give, but even though at the end, you have a listing of the companies and stuff, you should, for the benefit of those of us who love and live this scale have a little caption for each photo telling us what's the vehicles/troops are, ie, manufacturer etc. Anyway, thanks for the pics, I really enjoyed them. -- Tim |

Very nice display Richard, and the officer wearing a white 'chèche' is a must have ;-) |

Those are the wrong sort of Valentines. They had the Valentine III or V with 3 man turret and 3 part circular hatch. I don't know if you can get the correct one's in 20mm scale though. Also I didn't think there were any Panhard 178's in Tunisia. |

"Also I didn't think there were any Panhard 178's in Tunisia." There wasn't any. Only earlier Panhard hitted the ground in Africa for tests but were sent back to France. |

OK No Panhard (though they had a lot of stuff in Africa they weren`t supposed to have, because of Weyard hiding it from the Germans!), they`ll have to have a Laffly/White TBC instead (though to be honest they`ll need all the help they can get). As for the mark of Valentine I`m no "rivet counter" and at 4ft away on a wargames table one Valentine looks like another – at least to me :) lol |

I checked S&S's page and did not see Latils. Are they still around? I am working on a similar force in 15mm. I make my own Char D1 tanks and just ordered QRF Latils. Have you seen the book by Historie & Collections "LES CHASSEURS D'AFRIQUE" by Jacques Sicard? Dave G. The PT Dockyard |

Dave Drop Shawn of S&S an email, the Latils are indeed still available. in fact I just posted pics of a couple more of their "odd" French kit – link I have that book – really good. |
