Has anyone compiled a list of which countries are alligned and which countries are at war on EVE? Would anyone wish that to happen? I did go to the who's who site for EVE, nice info there but not a sort of executive summary for quick reference.

For the history books, Cavenderia is currently at war with the Deylicate of Bizerrca and allied with the Reich Duchy of Beerstein and the Duchy of Mieczyslaw. Cavenderia also has diplomatic relations with Monte Cristo.

Kolanhomm has strong anti-Papal (and Papist) tendancies, but doesn't yet have any direct enemies.

EvE members are scatterd the world over, and play solo -or in a few cases within a small little group, such as the Saxe-Bearstein saxe-bearstein.blogspot.com Mieszyslaw mieczyslaw.blogspot.com Norden nordendutchy.blogspot.com one.
This means that the individual campaigns are kept independant, and that alliances are essentially a matter of (friendly and enjoyable) 'fluff'.
Occasionally up to 7-8 players collaborate in a one-shot operation, outside their respective campaigns, just for the pleasure of collaboration; the actuale battle being fought by a 'proxy': the battles of Tippelbruder and Offenbach are memorable exemples.
The Frankzonia frankzonia.blogspot.com and, at least for a part, Hesse-Fedora hessefedora.blogspot.com campaigns are 'nominally' associated to the 'main' war of Major Powers (Gallia = France vs Hesse-Seewald = Prussia), but for practical reasons are treated as diffrent, independant fronts: the interactions are a matter of (mutually enriched) background / storyline.
More loosely, several contributors echo two (± informal) 'grand alliance'. They are generally either the more 'historically minded' ones, fielding historical armies masquerading under a fictitious name; or some owning, beside their Imagi-Nation, historical armies or navies. These two 'poles' are the German Protestant States ('Germania', = Prussia + satellites) with Britannia and the equivalent of Hanover, against the Catholic Powers -Gallia, Austria, but also Tradgarland, the Jacobites… Austria is not represented by a single player, there is no 'Oysteria' in the EvE Europe, but several ones from time to time report the actions of their Austrian army corps *and fleet* link link . A matter of shared background / fluff at the collective blog level. Occasionally such alliances between mainly historical armies provide the opportunity for an enjoyable meeting of a few memeber, e.g. the recent spectacular Big Battalions Battles: TMP link

And of course, its 'every Christian Nation against the Turks and the Pirates from the Barbary Coast'…. But again, a matter of shared storyline rather than "Real World" meetings of players.
