Dear all, Im a fan of the Fanaticus website. I love visiting every week to check out new pictures and keep up to date with it in general. However, it seems to have had no new updates since mid September. Is the Imperator on break at the mo? Just curious, since I am getting ready to post some WIP shots and would like to open my own gallery, too. Any info would be appreciated. Regards, Tony Banks, Sth Korea |

IIRC Chris Brantley has been having some computer issues. The forum at Fanaticus is still very active. |

In addition to the computer issues, Chris has been swamped at work. I wouldn't count on many updates of the front page right now (and probably a big back log when Chris is able to get to it). But the forum is still very busy--if you put your pictures up on a photo or blog web site and link to them you'll get lots of visitors. - Jack |

ditto to Jack's comments. The man has a life and those of us in a similar position, have ups and downs of time available. Maybe if everyone chipped in and matched his salary in his day job he could quit and devote full time to what is now a free service to the hobby. The forum is jam packed with new stuff, not just DBA, but also HOTT and now lots of discussion on DBN and other gunpowder variants. Speaking of which, Chris put on a big DBN game at Fall in picture These rules are really catching on for Napoleonic games. DBA size units and general concepts of play. Small number of units as each is a regiment or brigade. Chris has been promoting this. Great fun at Fall in and we'll do it again at Cold Wars. |

Thanks to all for the update. Obviously the man has a life outside of maintaining the Fanaticus website(as does everyone). Like I said, I was just curious as to whether anyone knew anything because I love the site and it had been quiet for a while. Tony, Sth Korea |
