Perhaps these pics might give you some ideas what to do with your old figures.
They're from our demo at Crisis 2008 and contain many figures of Old Days: Lamming, Castile etc with some modern batches of Foundry, Old Glory and Black Tree added.

I still have many war game armies I painted in the 70's and 80's. They still look and play great
