…but for a little touch-up here and there on the paintwork and some dust added (I'm also converting a seated gunner for the rear compartment)…

built and pre-painted, plastic model. Excellent detail – fits nicely with 28/30mm figs.

Very nicely done! How did you do the seated legs? Have you considered putting a gunner on the pintle-mount?

(I'll now have to hunt one or two of those down…)

Cosmic Reset07 Nov 2008 6:22 p.m. PST

Very nice, thanks for sharing the pics.

seated legs are converted from Sentinel pilot (torso removed)- jacket skirts and cargo pockets sculpted with putty. I'm in the process of converting the gunner – he'll be sitting on the large tarp just behind the gun.

really sick looking, great job

Awesome stuff! Makes me want to put a crew in my Warthog!

Is the tarp scratch-built?

cloudcaptain08 Nov 2008 10:11 p.m. PST

The prices for the Warthog online are pretty inflated. Here it is for $6.99:

They are quite nice in person.

I've got two I bought off of eBay. If you're patient you can get them relatively cheap. Mine were $13 USD and $11 USD each, including shipping.

tarp is a Pig Iron metal casting from the spares box…

thanks for all the kind comments!
