Hoping someone might be able to help me locate a Space Ghost figure or a suitable substitute.

Here's a picture for those who don't know/remember him.

And further info here link

"Don't remember him"? He's only one of the coolest animated superheroes *ever*.

:)

Here's an Aurora-scale kit to convert the Superman model into Space Ghost: link

I imagine you could do the same thing for a miniature, converting a Superman or other similar caped mini.

There are Superman Heroclix: auction

Personally, I hate converting per-painted plastics. The seams drive me insane. But Superfigs has this metal mini of Seeker that's pretty close to Space Ghost: link

The cloak is a little off, but for the head all you need to do is file down those ear-bumps. The gloves would be easy to rework, too.

Looks like Kondor would work, too, but I'd like to see a head-on view: link

T-Bolt's not bad, either, but the head, gloves, and belt would need work: link

Jan, Jace, and Blip are a little tougher: picture

And here's a pretty cool scratch-built Ghost Cruiser: link

I have no idea what you have planned to do with Awesome Guy Tad Ghostal, but I want in!

There's a chap that sells 'converted/modified' clixies on ebay from time to time…(I've gotten several of them)…but I also know how to 'make'/convert my own…

PM me or drop me a line here and I'll pass on the info…(also there's a few clixies I can suggest for mods with MINIMUM of repainting…)

Slisssssssssshhhhhhh Ghooooooooost!
Sgt DWW-and yes, I have even sculpted my own ORIGINAL 'Phantom Cruiser' and have link/images to PROVE!

there is a 'Canadian superhero' in white outfit, flying…(has red lightning bolt on costume) that with cape and modifying hands to 'fists' and a little 'touch up' makes an 'easy' Space Ghost…another figure is that 'Wrecker' chap…minus the ball and a little more work…

The 'Changeling' figure with MONKEY on his shoulder makes a great 'Jase and Blip' and Jessie Quick figure is a good base for Jan….(I've used all of those to make my own in addition to buying some from
auction

He didn't have anything up at this moment, but he takes 'requests'….and I've had him do several figs that he then posts to ebay for buy it now or other. I suggest you contact him via ebay or keep checking his auctions, IF you're not interested in making your own.

He's also done some great 'Vampirella-type' figs for me in the past, converted from 'Nebula' (among others)….like this one.

Are you getting enough oxygen in there?

darthfozzywig04 Nov 2008 6:29 p.m. PST

Just make sure you can get a desk and some scale celebrity guests to go with him.

Funny just saw one yesterday at a Hallmark card shop. It is in the Christmas ornament section.

Anyone for power-band fried Zorak?

jpattern205 Nov 2008 8:14 a.m. PST

Dang, the Hallmark Space Ghost is 4 inches high.

Thieses05 Nov 2008 1:31 p.m. PST

Hallmark Space Ghost? Cool!

flooglestreet05 Nov 2008 1:35 p.m. PST

Look at the Radon Zombies of the Ionosphere from Pulp Figures by Bob Murch. You will have to add a cape and build up the mask.

Baconfat05 Nov 2008 9:28 p.m. PST

The Heroclix people made a Hourman who I remember having a similar hood. Green stuff the cape and arm bands.

I have the action figure that Cartoon Network released 8+ years ago. It came with a desk, coffee mug and question cards for his interviews. I distinctly remember suggesting such an action figure on the Cartoon Network website. I'm convinced they stole my idea.
