Subject: Breda Ba. 65
Manufacturer: Armaments in Miniature armamentsinminiature.com
Scale: 1/100
Medium: Resin
Price: $12 USD

The kit consists of a one piece fuselage/wing/tail assembly and several resin detail parts (bombs, bomb racks, exhaust stacks, horizontal stab. struts, landing gear struts, and tail wheel). This is another very nice AIM kit that required minimal clean up and went together well. I finished this kit in overall middlestone with green splotches. I used two sets of Wargames decals to get the look I wanted (one set for C.202s and another set for CR.42s). I'm going to get some more Bredas and finish them for service in the Spanish Civil War (to be opposed by some I-16s).

Recommendation: Highly recommended but some skill/patience would come in handy because of a couple of the smaller pieces.

Post assembly:
Decals: Wargames (yes, Dave W. & Dom, if I fall into a bunch of money I will provide the investment funds for some decent 1/144 and 1/100 scale Finnish and Italian aircraft decals).
Paint: Vallejo Model Colors #088 Gunship Green and #118 Middlestone
Primer: Rust-Oleum Gray Automotive Primer
Matte Finish: Krylon Crystal Clear Matte

Very nice. I'm just doing a couple of Ba.65s in 1/300 scale. Hope they come out half as good as yours.

My Gosh!!!! Kev -

You are a model building machine!!!! Or are these some of the ones you had partially completed? Looking Good – too bad they aren't 1/144.

If you win the lottery, make sure some of those investment decals are for 1/144 bombers, huh?

:-)

Kevin, do you have (or have you thought about) a complete website where you can display all of the models you've produced? (Possibly with assembly/painting tips and techniques)

Do you sell there on, or do you still have them? If you've still got them, have you thought about a photo of all of them together? No purpose, just thought it would look really impressive :-)

Geoff, thanks for the compliments. I don't have a blog or personal website. I tend to post pictures of my models on a photobucket site link . As for assembly and painting tips I've been posting what I've done in the various TMP boards or sending them to Bill as Workbench articles.

I have lots of the models (finished, in progress…sometimes for years, and sitting on the shelve waiting to go) but I've sold some & traded others. I don't have enough room to lay them out for one shooting.
