I received a flyer from Squadron advertising 1/144 Minicraft B-25H/Js. I found them cheaper on another site. I have seen reference to Revell & Crown B-25s but have never seen them. I've search on ebay for the many pre-paints but found nothing.

Any other suggestions, Guys? Or should I just go for the Minicraft?

Altaya/IXO have a diecast on the way.
I haven't seen it avaible for pre-order anywhere, but here is a link to Altaya's site. Site is in French though.
Supposed to be a B25H.

Kimball, the Minicraft model is the only one I've ever seen available. Kevin

I'll echo miscimini – the only one I've ever found was the Minicraft B-25.

The Minicraft B-25H/J kit is the Crown kit repackaged. I'm pretty sure Crown got the molds from Revell. They're all the same kit.

The Maisto/Motormax/Tailwinds diecast B-25J, commonly found at Walmart, is about 1/150 and mixes well with 1/144 models. They're cheap, sturdy and only need a partial repaint. Did I mention they're cheap?

Thanks Guys!!!!

Order is on the way and Zippy/Oberfeldwebel I'll have to check them out, too.

Thanks,

Kimball

Good to see you still active on TMP. Jumping in late here, and the info I had to share has already been covered. So, what model/kit did you order?

Hello Eric!!!

I ordered the Minicraft B-25H/J versions. Only one I could find. I had heard of the Crown/Revell but Zippy said they are all the same mold anyway, so I ordered them online from Hobbylinc. They were $1.20 USD cheaper per model than Squadron.

You ever find different 1/144 decals for our bombers? I have 6 of the B-25s coming and would like them all to be different. I still have three B-17s that look the same and three more to put together. :-)

Never did find any 1/144 B17 decals. Still looking though, but may have to resort to printing my own.

Yep, trying to do that myself. Will let you know as I progress. Maybe we can trade and have some of each others…

Received the Minicraft 1/144 B-25H/Js from Hobbylinc.com. Very quick and as they advertised. No problems. Good supplier.

Thanks for the advice guys. Now to get them put together, painted and decalled up for a mission…

Just FYI. The plane depicted on the box art for the crown model is of the plane my father flew in the 12th AF during the war. Number 13 on the rudder – "Peggy Lou", 12th AF, 57th BW, 321st BG, 445th BS.
