Just cranked these out last night -- Finally got a few moments to try some conversions on some matchbox cars my 2yr old daughter has been playing with lately (…like taking candy from a baby!)

My first attempts after looking at a few examples online:

Very cool! :)

very good.
My wife likes the one with the orbital saws. She shouts hypnodisk every time I show it to her.

They are great!

What did you make the saws out of?

TheStarRanger26 Oct 2008 4:32 p.m. PST

The saws (and the bits over the rear tires of that same care) look like they came from some of the additional bits you get with some of the Speed Race cars still in stores from the movie.

Thanks for the comments…

The saws were gears from an incomplete 1/72 scale wwII tank kit I had lying around(Fujimi Chi-ha I think) just taken right off the sprue and glued to a piece of metal paper clip.

Almost all the weapons and extra bits are from WWII kits and plastic soldiers since up till now, I've been building WWII stuff exclusively ..
