Hi all
Here is some painted Perry Agincourt to Orleans range figures. There is the basing and some small touch up to be done still.
I used Army Painter strong tone on these. I'm not so sure about the result. Maybe I will Matt varnish them, I don't know.
I personally like to look at other peoples work and get inspiration so I hope you will find this interesting.
Regards from a very wet Helsinki.

Very nice – I like the bold, strong colours.

Thanks. I tried to exaggerate the painting so the figures would stand out . I have the tendency to paint to bland. They use to look OK up close but not on the table !

They look great!

Thanks for sharing.

I really like the sculpting, and poses too.

Yes, you've opted for the good "table" look, which it happens photgraphs best as well! Nice color combos there, imho.

Very nice! I'll have to pick up some of those figures.

BTW, you need to paint more, so drink more wine!

You got me ! Actually my painting is just an excuse for drinking wines !

Very nice. I like the idea of using old corks to mount the figs for painting. What do you stick them on with?

Excellent job max. Those are very attractive figures and the colors make them really pop and stand out.

Very nice!! I do like the use of brighter colours. Something I've not had the guts to try. Yet.

Max – silly question I know but how do you remove the figures from the plastic corks for basing? Has anyone tried traditional cork corks? Maybe too unstable?

Shame that here in OZ they are phasing out corks all together in favour of screw caps! Still the metal caps are an option as painting mounts though I usually use surplus thin cardboard (cut well oversize to hold onto) and then just cut down and stuck to the permanent base.

Cheers and good job on the figures.

Not a silly question. I use a X- Acto knife to lightly cut them off the cork . Often the glue peels really easy off the figure base. I have not had any problems.
It works on real corks and the newer version !
Old 35mm film plastic cans are very good also.
