TAG – The Assault Group (28mm) Greetings TAG fans! Today i have added the latest dolls and part to our "Workbench" link These are the basis of our *NEW* project "The Spanish Century". We plan to run through the 16th Century Spanish armies and enemies, starting with the Conquistadors promised 5 years ago when our Aztec/Tlaxcallan range was initially commissioned and working through the Neapolitan, and Imperial lists, to end up with the Long War against the Dutch States. All my current thinking on the plans for the range can be read here link where some of you have become involved and made comments and suggestions. If *you* would like to become involved in shaping what i hope to be a definitive range for the period, please get involved through our forum. The Dolls shown in the link are just the start of what we have, they represent the Conquistadors that defeated the mighty Aztec empire and will be the basis of our Neapolitan Spanish for the Great Italian War. I hope that you like them, they are the work of TAG's finest sculptor, Nick Collier. Nick has been the man instrumental in producing TAG's best selling Seventeenth Century minis, and we hope that the following that he has built-up in the later period, will inspire those who would like to build a Sixteenth Century army, but lack confidence in the quality and depth of current ranges. As always your comments are most welcome. :-) Cheers pete |

OH, come on! What do you want? That I sell my wife and children? They need food! Nor more metal! And then you come with Spanish Century!!! You should be ashamed of yourself! Jokes apart
The dolls look really exciting! Two questions: How they will mix with existing Conquistadores ranges? (Eureka and Foundry, specially); and When you will release the Italian Wars? Antonio |

Except that I think the new greens are for figures in the 1500-1530 period

Huevans, I know, but if you check the TAG forum, you will see that late 16th century figures are planned for the future. |

Will there be anything for Ireland? |
a1companion | 04 Nov 2008 1:56 a.m. PST |
err.. um
maybe one day. The thing with the English Wars in Ireland is that most of the minis would be usable for anything else, and although we would like to add Tudor Britain to our range for completeness sake, it wont be in the next couple of years
One-day. |
