My kids don't need that college fund. They would just waste it on learning.

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it would not result in my wife tying me up in a sack with a donkey and an adder and throwing me from the Tarpeian Rock.

Oh well.

Looks like he is wanting a gross profit of some 1000 percent!

I might be able to fathom $1000.00, but $50K; you have got to be kidding!

Hmm, must check those Lottery tickets….

Won't fit on my apartment balcony, but I could definitely build a home around this.

If only you could rig up the firing mechanism as a sort of overengineered mouse trap the amusement would be limitless.

My wife wants to buy it. Did you check the Q&A on the sale?

Sane Max02 Oct 2008 12:59 a.m. PST

they didn't put a Donkey and an adder in the sack when they threw you from the Tarpeian rock surely? wasn't half the fun the 'trying to fly' motions made as you fell?

Very expensive heap of firewood. Their 'expert' was an archer, not an expert on ancient seige engines & it lacks a lot of bits, like nearly all the iron reinforcing.

As the ad says, maybe suitable for a theme park but really non functional.

Greg – you may want to check your arithmetic.

Cost 120k to build (for TV company)

On sale for 25k

Profit?

If it cost the company 120K to build that, then I must have missed the gold inlay and the platinum base.

How do you spell, "SUCKER"?

Perhaps I could interest them in some of my property I have for sale just south of Louisiana?

;-)

I don't understand how it can cost so much to build either. But building anything seems to cost a ludicrous amout these days – 12 billion quid for an Olympic games? How???????

Daggz6303 Oct 2008 6:25 a.m. PST

You have to pay for all those feasibility studies and evironmental impact statements, that accounts for 119K, so only 1K to build it!!! ;) that's a reasonable price,
