Dennis, could you give a brief synopsis? I have been playing Polemos and not entirely satisfied. I'm using 10 mm and favouring large bases (1 unit = 1 base) would these rules suit me? |

I haven't played it. Colorful rules. 15mm and 25mm scales, big actions at 1:35 men ratio, small actions at 1:5. Changing formations is time deterministic, no interpenetrations of troops, multiple dice to score hits for artillery, die roll and modifiers and # stands firing table for muskets taking out figures, morale rolls with modifiers, optional events. A couple pages on Northern War, Eastern Wars. A couple scenarios. Dennis from OMM onmilitarymatters.com |
